Cool Labor Day Drinks To End Summer With A Bang!

First of all, where did August even go?

With Labor Day coming up and summer coming to a fiery end, we Golden gals have put together a roundup of the most refreshing, bitter-sweet drinks to say goodbye to this gorgeous 80 degree weather and welcome pumpkin season! Bubbly, fruity and all together amazingly tasty, these cocktails will give you the taste of paradise you deserve. Drink up!

Match Made in Heaven Spritz

  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz Seltzer
  • ¼ Watermelon
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt

Combine ingredients in a wine glass over ice and stir. Garnish with a grapefruit crescent

*Watermelon Aperol: Combine 1 bottle of Aperol (750ml) with a quarter of a cubed watermelon in a blender. Blend for 2 minutes. Strain, rebottle, and store in refrigerator.

NOLET’S Silver Watermelon Sparkler

  • 1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Dry Gin
  • 1 oz. Sparkling Sake
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • .5 oz. Agave Nectar
  • 3” Watermelon Square

Muddle watermelon with NOLET’S Silver, lemon juice and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, shake and strain into a port glass. Top with chilled sparkling sake and stir. Garnish with a watermelon sphere.

Truly Italian Margarita

  • 1 oz Casamigos Blanco Tequila
  • 0.5 oz Campari
  • 0.5 oz Grand Marnier
  • 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 4 oz Truly Colima Lime

Combine all ingredients, except for Truly, in a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a Double Rocks glass (14 oz) and top with Truly Colima Lime.
Garnish: Salt Rim & Lime Wedge

Patrón Mini Pineapple Piña Colada

  • 2 oz. Patrón Reposado
  • 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz. Passionfruit Juice
  • 1 oz.  Cinnamon Cream of Coconut
  • .5 oz. Lime Juice
  • 2 dashes Pecan Bitters

Hollow out large pineapple and cut the hallowed out pineapple down the middle, utilizing the bottom half of the pineapple as drinking vessel. Add all ingredients into a shaker and fill halfway with ice. Shake for 5 seconds and double strain into the hollowed out pineapple with ice. Garnish with leaves from the large pineapple and place mini pineapples on top.
