Celebrate World Gin Day With Gin Mare Now in NYC!

For many of us, the Gin & Tonic has been a classic for years. It’s our go-to drink when out with friends, and while it’s simple, it does the trick and tastes amazing. We’ve always been big fans, yet until last Thursday at Gin Mare’s Med Rooftop, we never imagined that there could be more to our classic party drink.

This past week, the ultra elite Mediterranean gin brand, Gin Mare, made its formal debut in the United States. Of course, NYC was where the brand chose to make its first stop, and Rascal Studio rooftop was the spot of choice.

The space was sophisticated and perfectly inline with the brand’s elegant image, not to mention the city view one could see from the roof deck and through the spotless glass walls of the studio. As we arrived, the modelesque mixologists mixed up flawless G&T after flawless G&T, all adorned with gorgeous fresh fruits and all iced to perfection.

Turns out, there are a great variety of delicious sweet, bitter and savory Gin & Tonic recipes that we just cannot believe we had never tried before! By the end of the night and overlooking the incredible NYC skyline, we had taken a sip of every drink the mixologists offered, from tomato juice and olives to orange bitters, cherries, basil and rosemary-infused gin, we tried them all. As you can imagine, it was a pretty great night.

As the sun set and the Gin & Tonics got sweeter, celebrities Lo Bosworth and Chef Michael White made appearances and had a taste of Gin Mare’s delicious summer drinks. We cannot imagine there could’ve been a better way to introduce the Mediterranean brand to the U.S. crowd. They made quite an impression!

Be sure to check them out and make your own spiced Gin & Tonic to celebrate!

Happy G&T Day & Cheers from our glass of Gin Mare to yours.
