Take a look at these simple and delicious recipes, and prep yourself a tasty Hollywood-inspired night cap before the big show. We’ll be right there with you.

Celebrate nominee “House Of Cards” with: The American Dream

Created by Beverage Director Joel Cuellar, The Brandy Library.

Bold and straightforward – much like the Underwoods – the American Dream cocktail is a strong and smooth night cap fit for a President.

Stir all ingredients together, pour in a stemless snifter and add 4 ice cubes. Garnish with a Cognac-marinated cherry bits-sprinkled caramel cracker.

Celebrate nominee “Game of Thrones” with: Winter is Coming

Created by Pamela Wiznitzer, USBG NY President and Creative Director at Seamstress, NYC.

In this cloudy September day, we’ve never been more certain that winter is in fact coming, and very soon! Celebrate everyone’s favorite TV show with winter’s cocktail of choice, made with only the highest quality spirits. This spiced mix, a chilling drink much like the characters from “beyond the wall” is prepped with a just a hint of warming spice coming from the bourbon and delicious aged rum. Served with a side of candied walnuts, as all Lord’s cocktails should be, this drink is the taste of royalty.

Combine and shake/chill with ice. Grate fresh cinnamon and nutmeg over the mixture and incorporate in. Garnish with a side of candied walnuts to eat while sipping.

Celebrate nominee Taraji P Hensen of “Empire” with: Fresher Than You

Created by Cody Goldstein – Bartender & Founder of Muddling Memories.

Fresher than an ice-cold drink on a hot summer day, this mint-infused cocktail is a burst of bold flavor, with just the right amount of sweetness. Maker’s Mark Cask Strength is uncut and unfiltered Maker’s Mark straight from the barrel. With its front-of-the-palate intensity that Taraji fans will love, this concoction is a powerful choice for the Empire-loving folk. In the words of Lucious: “To EMPIRE.”

Combine Maker’s Cask Strength, Cognac, Amaro, creme de banana and Peppermint Bitters into a mixing glass. Fill with ice and stir for 10 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass.

Celebrate nominee Sarah Paulson of “American Horror Story” with: Green Goblin

Created by Niccole Trzaska of Drinks by Niccole.

Make a toast to Sarah Paulson’s glamorously dark character in “AHS: Hotel” with the complex yet surprisingly delicious Green Goblin cocktail. A perfect combination of smooth Cruz Tequila and a spooky but tasty Green Goblin juice, this unusual cocktail pays tribute to the tortured spirits that lurked the infamous Hotel Cortez.

  • 1 part CRUZ Blanco Tequila
  • 1 ½ part Green Goblin Juice:
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin Pie filling or pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 cucumbers with Skin
  • 2 small red apples
  • 2 small green apples
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Combine all in a juice

Celebrate nominee Claire Danes of “Homeland” with: The Classified

Carrie Mathison, AKA Hollywood’s most complex and beloved CIA agent, is like many of us in that she enjoys the pleasure of sipping on a chilled glass of white wine before bed. Because we know this feeling oh-so-well, we’ve chosen The Classified, a citrus-y twist on the classic wine spritzer to pay tribute to our favorite girl boss. Trinchero Napa Valley’s luscious Sauvignon Blanc is silky and slightly sweet, ideal for a calming moment of luxury after a long hard day.

Build drink over ice in a glass. Stir all contents together except the soda. Top drink with grapefruit soda and garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.
