All Denim Everything... Again
Remember a million years ago (in 2001) when Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake showed up at the American Music Awards in full-denim? Ah, what a time for fashion. The 90s and early 2000s were truly an overwhelmingly denim-loving era, and we’re not really sure how or why that stopped. A few years without the trend have obviously been too hard on us and thankfully, we are now bringing it back. Everywhere from the streets of Williamsburg to the top runways, denim is coming back strong, and we are oh so glad.
The semi-new brand (born in 2014) Dittos is showcasing their Spring 2016 jean collection and not to give it all away but it includes jean mini skirts, maxi skirts and bell-bottoms! Do you even remember bell-bottoms? It turns out, they’re cool again and we have Dittos to thank. For our top denims pieces of the month we also picked some unbelievable sandals from MM6 Maison Margiela – which we honestly can’t wait to wear this Spring – as well as a timeless DSQUARED2 jacket, a See by Chloé super chic cape, a Mattiussi casual cap and a Stella McCartney mini bag. We realize this may seem like a little too much denim, but if you’re ever scared just think Britney, and believe us, with these designer piece, you’ll pull the look off.
The perfect accessory for every season, this jackets pairs well with any kind of outfit, from a casual street look to a semi elegant black dress and golden pumps. If it were up to us, we'd suggest you wear it with a gray tee and a pair of white ripped jeans for a sophisticated yet edgy look.
A fun artsy spin on the classic, this color-block design takes the 90s look to a whole new level.
The warm weather is here and there is nothing we want more than these distressed denim sandals. In perfect blues, whites and nudes, the color combination of these babies is what spring fashion is all about. Shop the look and join us as we celebrate the return of the all-denim look!
