Aspen Hot Spot Alert: "Rec Room" Opens its Doors

The hot new spot of 2016 – Rec Room – opens in Aspen! Having first opened its doors three months ago on December 18th, the lounge offers a luxuriously exclusive space with laid back vibes reminding us of more simple times and friendly reunions with old friends. A partnership between LDH Hospitality and David Burke Group, this haute spot brings a rich light to Aspen’s nightlife by combining the charm of the old and the chicness of the new. Located just beneath Aspen’s renowned David Burke Kitchen, the lounge holds a romantic 70s vibe with a funky mix of DJ spins and an energetic young ambiance.

“We are very excited to open Rec Room Aspen. An intimate, destination hideaway that is always approachable yet impossibly cool, this latest outpost of Rec Room offers a combination of New York’s underground vibe and the mellow, relaxed feel of Aspen.” - Amy Sacco, Partner at LDV Hospitality.

Started by nightlife genius, Sacco, New York City’s Rec Room launched as the V.I.P room above the city’s celebrity hotspot No.8, while Rec Room in Miami opened at the Gale Hotel located in Miami Beach in 2013. David Burke Group and LDV Hospitality joined forces then to create Miami’s Rec Room and luckily for us they have done it once again for Aspen, taking this vacation destination’s nightlife to a whole new level. Chic, edgy, worldly and classic, Aspen’s Rec Room is one haute spot to be in. See you there!

“Partnering with LDV was a natural fit as they are just as dedicated to the ultimate guest experience, and we’re thrilled to be working with them. Over the years Rec Room has become a true staple in the nightlife world and bringing this property to Aspen is a great addition to the city’s celebrated scene.” - Stephen Goglia, President & CEO of David Burke Group.
