For The Cheese Lovers
Have you ever thought of the negative effects of dairy can have on your skin?
Unfortunately our favorite milky treats can cause pretty disastrous problems including: irritation, inflammation, itchiness and even acne.
While people don’t necessarily have an allergy to the actual protein itself, they often do have a strong negative reaction to the hormones, additives and antibiotics that were used on the animals themselves. These different hormones/additives are foreign to our bodies, so when we eat them, our bodies try to protect themselves, causing us to have all kinds of reactions! If you believe some products do you more harm than others, try this: stop consuming dairy products entirely, for a week, and then add each one back, slowly, to see which ones you can or cannot process.
For The Girls Sleeping In Last Night’s Makeup
It doesn’t just cause pimples…
When we sleep, out bodies recuperate, relax, and the entire anti-aging process occurs. Every feel in our bodies is programmed to work a certain way and accomplish a certain task – but when makeup gets in the way and stresses out our skin, the cells get confused, and the process slows down. Sleeping in makeup can not only cause us to break out, it also congests and contaminates our pores, not allowing cell turnover to happen. So yes, sleeping in your makeup is aging you.
For The Workaholics
Not-surprisingly, our work environment greatly affects the health of our skin.
Do you work in a close office space? Travel for work often? Then your skin is not getting enough oxygen. Offices, subways, cabs and planes are all dehydrated environments, so to keep your skin glowing and gorgeous, you need a little extra effort.
