I Tried These 5 Kardashian Beauty Hacks... and They Worked

1. Forskolin Dietary Supplement
Before the Kardashians started endorsing it, I actually came to know about this natural dietary supplement through none other than the fabulous Miley Cyrus. As I was scrolling through Instagram one day, I came across a photo of the star holding a jar of Forskolin pills, followed by a crazy caption that basically claimed that she had used these pills to lose a huge amount of weight in just a few days. Of course I was instantly curious, and so I began researching as much as I could about this plant-based supplement. There seemed to be no negative side-effects and only great reviews. In fact, soon it was all everyone was talking about, including my fave, Khloe! Unable to find a reason not to, I bought a small jar of pills and began taking them daily. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the first pill began working just two hours after I took it, and after three weeks of taking them daily, I lost an entire pants size without even changing my diet or exercise routine. Now, I am no doctor (at all) and I certainly don’t believe that these pills should be taken every day or that we should all become obsessed with the results they provide, but do they work? Absolutely.

Fresh from the Kardashian-Jenner closets, this corset/waist trainer fad is one of the most incredible and difficult things I have ever made myself try. While Kylie Jenner’s body is pretty much the reason I exercise, and definitely the only reason I decided to try out a waist trainer, it certainly turned out to be much more difficult than I thought it would be. Though I adore my Amia Classic Cincher, the first few days I wore it were torture. I couldn’t move much, I wasn’t used to the pressure, my lungs felt tight, etc. I quickly realized that sitting and laying down while wearing the cincher wasn’t the best idea, and so afterwards I began using it while doing chores around the house. I soon became much more comfortable with it, and went from wearing it for thirty minutes to leaving it on for about two hours a day. It didn’t take long for me to start seeing and feeling the results. By wearing my flexible little corset a few hours a day, I not only felt my waist get slimmer but I also found myself learning to breathe better and stand straighter due to the added pressure; so wearing it actually helped train my entire body, not simply my waist!
